The mission of the Oumu Foundation is to develop long term mutual understanding between secondary school students in China and the United States using the medium of the Internet to share authentic, multimedia stories about their lives in a project based program designed to meet curriculum content standards.

The Oumu Foundation is a private 501(c)(3) foundation registered in the state of California.
